For sake of clarification, I’ll start out by saying this is Mike. I don’t often post on the blog, but I thought today I should. Last night I watched a movie with my wife called The Time Traveler’s Wife. While I love movies, this post isn’t about movies. It’s about my sweet wife Mary, who means more to me than words can possibly describe. The movie made me think about how wonderful she is.
In the film the main actor time travels at random, without warning and with no control over when he comes or goes. This creates a very unique challenge for his marriage. As I watched the movie I thought about how much my sweet Mary carries as I flit about taking care of everything. Between work, school, church, video jobs and more I sometimes feel like I am whisked away to the next “thing” with little warning or little time at home. Don’t get me wrong, I have a wonderful life. It’s just a busy one. I have to go while Mary is left to take care of the boys and the house and all of the thousands of daily things that make up our lives.
This post is a tribute to my wife. I love you Mary, with all my heart. I’m so glad I’ve got an eternity with you, as anything less would just seem too short.
