March 1st is national pig day! I started celebrating it with my roommates way back when, and the tradition just kind of stuck! This year Zach was out of school, and Mike was home during lunch, so we celebrated then so that Mike could enjoy the day of pigs with us before he took off for the rest of the night.
How do you celebrate pig day you ask? Well, you begin by eating good old fashioned hot dogs. Yum! Then you play the ever so dignified “snort game.” To play the snort game, you sit in a circle, and each person gets a chance to snort at the person sitting next to them. The person being snorted at can’t smile or laugh or they are out. If they remain straight faced, they in turn snort at the person sitting next to them. This continues around the circle until there is only one person remaining. I’m proud to say I am still the “snort champ.” What an honor!

You then finish up pig day by reading a plethora of pig books! I couldn’t find my “True Story of the Three Little Pigs” – which I was bummed about.

What a fun pig day it was! Now, I’m issuing a warning to all readers… the next several pictures are of our very attractive “snort faces.” You may not want to see such utterly attractive pictures of us!
